At Dancebox we believe that performing in front of a live audience is the very best way to learn. As well as making sure that our teachers have professional performance experience, we strive to provide as many performance opportunities as possible for our students during the course.
Every student will have the opportunity to be involved in large-scale theatrical performances which take place in professional theatres, with professional production values. We also have smaller, vocational course performances in a selection of venues in the local area. We also work with local businesses who are keen to partner with our dancers. Most prolifically, Heart FM have announced that we are the sole provider of dancers for their events across the four counties region.
The studios also host auditions and rehearsals for cruise production companies, dance shows and touring productions, allowing our students to rub shoulders with the professionals and possibly be spotted by casting directors. We’ve recently hosted TUI Cruise's TED Production Group, BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, Jersey Boys, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures Company and the BBC Young Dancer of the Year.
We also give our students the opportunity to perform in front of some of the industry's most important and influential names at the UK's biggest dance and performing arts shows, Can You Dance? and Move It.
